NARRATIVE Page 17. Section VI- Field- Irrigation Annual Report 1914. But very little he. s been done in the vay of irrigation on this reservation. A few dry reservoirs and ditches were built some few years ago which have been of no use to the Indi ns. The only method of securing water is by floods and melting snow. Large 7e11s might be munk to advantage and pumps installed for irrigation at some points. The Reclamation part of the Indian Service now has under construction a project at Canado, Arizona, which will ultimately irrigate some Indian land. Some irrigation is done from Red Lake and this project should be extended.
